Friday, September 04, 2009 12:10:31 PM GMT Wednesday, September 02, 2009 4:27:09 PM GMT
Wouldn’t it be great to walk into a business and create your own title? For example, a Starbuck’s employee wears the title Barista and some deli employees call themselves Sandwich Artists. Hmmm, I like the ring of that; perhaps I’ll quit my Account Manager position and become a Director of First Impressions. (Just kidding Janet). (more)

Monday, August 31, 2009 12:53:31 AM GMT Tuesday, August 25, 2009 10:52:58 PM GMT
In Europe, SEOs are wracking their brains over what Google is up to in the UK. The Twitterverse has been buzzing over the last three months about Google’s strange search results, and many bloggers have addressed the problem since early June. What’s happening? Last June several UK SEOs started to notice changes in the UK SERPS. At first it seemed as if the Vince Update, which hit the US last February, caused the change in rankings. But in the UK there seemed to be more than just Vince affecting results. ... (more)

I’m honestly not too excited about the pending search deal between Yahoo and Microsoft. The idea of slapping Bing’s search interface for people who don’t know how to search on the young demographic of Yahoo users isn’t really a match in my mind. The quality of the majority of that Yahoo traffic is questionable, but it’s volume and that’s what they wa... (more)
